With so many outlets for news and opinions, I've created this site as a simple way to view the latest MLB-related news and analysis. Instead of visiting 50+ different sites, twitter, facebook, etc...My thinking is it will be nice to have a simple & clean index of the latest stories. Blog posts are listed in the order of most recent posts first. Play Ball! [Bookmark CTRL + D]

2009 MLB IMPACT ROOKIES

A great look at some of this years prospects. Many names you know, some you don't. MLBHomeRun.com's observations? Andrew McCutchen is too low on this list. Why 33 names Sports Illustrated? Was it that hard to find a 34th? Tommy Hanson sure has a lot to live up to. Same goes with Matt Wieters of Baltimore. Expect 2009 strong seasons from Clayton Kershaw, Brandon Wood, Matt LaPorta, and Matt Gamel. Thank you Jon Heyman of SportsIllustrated.CNN.com for this write-up.

1. David Price (TB)

2. Chris Volstad (FLA)

3. Gordon Beckham (CHW)

4. David Bard (BOS)

5. Jordan Zimmerman (WAS)

6. Rick Porcello (DET)

7. Daniel Murphy (NYM)

8. Matt Wieters (BAL)

9. Cameron Maybin (FLA)

10. Brett Anderson (OAK)
