With so many outlets for news and opinions, I've created this site as a simple way to view the latest MLB-related news and analysis. Instead of visiting 50+ different sites, twitter, facebook, etc...My thinking is it will be nice to have a simple & clean index of the latest stories. Blog posts are listed in the order of most recent posts first. Play Ball! [Bookmark CTRL + D]

16-YEAR OLD HITS BASEBALL 570 FT.

How long will it take until this kid is accused of taking performance enhancing drugs? Opps...too late. Bryce Harper....remember the name. This story is from the great RBI Magazine.

Did we just find the Lebron James of Major League Baseball? The Boston Globe thinks so! Bryce Harper, a 16-year-old high school sophomore from Las Vegas High School is being already touted as the No. 1 pick in the 2011 draft after drilling a ball 570 feet during his freshman season.

Last season, Harper batted .590 with 11 home runs and 67 RBIs in 38 games for Las Vegas High School. Those are insane numbers for a high school freshman if you ask me. The amazing part about this story is that he still has three years to go!

What does Bryce attribute to his success? Steady hardcore workouts with a few daily shakes-and for god’s sake he admits to drinking a juice with an ACAI berry. He promises he has never taken any supplements other than your average protein.
